Hey, My name is Anke. I am 14 years old and I started dancing when I was 3. Even at my first dance lesson I already knew that dancing would become a big part of my life. I‘ve done ballet, modern dance, African dance, funk and jazz dance but I could not find myself in those dances until I saw some people doing hip hop and so I sold my heart to it. When I was 11 years old I learned my first hip hop-moves from TV and later I started to take some lessons in a hip hop class. From that moment on, I knew dancing was more than just a hobby, it is my life. One day, 2 friends of mine invited me to join a lesson at No Aid. I saw people moving like I had never seen before. All those people sheared the same passion as me: Dancing! When I got the opportunity from Stef to dance in No Aid my world couldn’t be more beautiful. When I started in No Aid I already felt as I was a part of the crew. Now, 9 months later, they are as a family to me.
You know.. It’s all about the magic of the dance.
